A Comprehensive Program
William Academy offers a comprehensive program for students in Grades 9–12 for both boarding and day students, designed to build both knowledge and confidence. We follow the curricular guidelines and policies of the Ontario Ministry of Education to ensure every course meets the highest standards.

Guidance Support
At William Academy, we understand that academic success goes hand in hand with careful planning and personal growth. Our guidance counselors are dedicated to helping every student set meaningful goals, make informed decisions, and confidently plan for life after high school.
From the moment students join us, guidance counselors help them choose courses that align with their interests, strengths, and university aspirations. Students receive personalized one-on-one university and college counseling, including support with applications, scholarship searches, and career exploration.
Our guidance team is always available to listen, advise, and encourage students to ensure each student feels supported through every academic and personal milestone. Whether planning for university admission in Canada or abroad, William Academy students are guided every step of the way toward a bright and successful future.
Student Support
At William Academy, we believe that a supportive environment is the foundation for student success. Whether students live on campus in our dormitories or commute daily, they are surrounded by caring teachers, guidance staff, and houseparents who are always ready to listen, encourage, and help.
For boarding students in our Cobourg campus, support extends beyond the classroom. With houseparents living on-site and overnight supervision, students always have someone looking out for their safety and wellbeing. Our boarding team fosters a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where students can comfortably adjust to life in Canada and focus on their studies.
Day students at both our Cobourg and Toronto campuses benefit from the same supportive community, with teachers and staff who take the time to get to know each student personally. Whether it’s academic advice, emotional support, or simply a friendly conversation, William Academy ensures that no student ever feels alone.
