Short-Term Exchange Programs
Our Short-Term Exchange Program offers international students the chance to experience Canadian education and culture without committing to a full year of study. Designed with flexibility in mind, the program provides the same high-quality academic experience, caring support, and vibrant school community that our full-time students enjoy—just over a shorter stay.
Students can join us for as little as one school term (approximately 2.5 months) during the academic year or participate in a one-month summer program. During their stay, students attend regular classes alongside Canadian and international peers, take part in school activities and trips, and live in our safe, supervised on-campus dormitories at our Cobourg campus.
Students are eligible to earn Ontario high school credits and may be able to receive credit co-validation toward their studies in their home countries (subject to local requirements).
Whether students come to improve their English, explore Canadian culture, or prepare for future international studies, the short-term exchange is a rewarding first step into global learning—and a true taste of life at William Academy.

Credit Co-validation
Students who join William Academy for a short-term exchange have the opportunity to earn Ontario high school credits during their studies with us. For those planning to return to their home countries, these credits may be eligible for co-validation with their local school system, depending on national or regional education requirements.
Our academic and guidance teams work closely with students to provide all necessary documentation and support for the credit recognition process. This ensures that students can continue their education smoothly while gaining valuable international learning experience through their time at William Academy.
