Semire, Nigeria (Grade 12)
Meet Semire, a graduate from Nigeria, as he shares his experience at William Academy in Canada. Joining the school for his senior year, Semire quickly became part of a vibrant and supportive community.
During his time at William Academy, Semire enjoyed a well-rounded student life — from participating in the soccer club each week to attending memorable school events like Spring Fling and the Christmas celebration. These experiences helped him build friendships, have fun, and feel at home in a new environment.
Academically, Semire experienced strong growth, especially in subjects like chemistry, where he found new confidence and success after arriving in Canada. His time at William Academy also helped broaden his perspective and shape how he approaches learning and the world around him.
As a graduate, Semire is preparing for the next step in his journey, with plans to study mechanical engineering at university.
